—Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
BIOGRAPHY
Maximilian Vogler has established himself as a promising lyric tenor with great artistic expressiveness. In addition to his active concert schedule, which this season includes his first appearances with the Stuttgart Abbey Choir and the Bach Choir of Holland, he is also increasingly establishing himself on the operatic stage. His debut at the Braunschweig State Theatre in Gavin Bryar's Marilyn Forever is scheduled for March 2026, followed by his role and house debut as Ferrando in Mozart's Così fan tutte at the Brandenburg Theatre in May 2026.
Past engagements have taken him to the Stuttgart State Opera and the Rheinsberg Palace Chamber Opera. He performs with renowned ensembles such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Academy for Ancient Music Berlin, the Handel Festival Orchestra Halle, and the Lautten Compagney Berlin.
His discographical works include the tenor arias from JS Bach's St. John Passion with Gli Angeli Genève under Stephan MacLeod (Claves 2024) and the role of Jesus in Louis Spohr's Des Heilands letzte Stunden with the Stuttgart Chamber Choir and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen under Frieder Bernius (Carus 2025).
